The hotel has a great location near Gion and many restaurants. However, the room lacked sufficient natural light, making it feel cramped.

Unfortunately, our stay was marred by several issues. The double bed was quite small for my partner and me, which made sleeping comfortably a challenge. Additionally, we noticed that the staff's struggle with English created communication barriers that were frustrating at times. On top of that, trash removal was inconsistent, causing unpleasant odors in the room during our stay.

Great location on a quiet street, just a few blocks from the vibrant Geisha district. I enjoyed many nearby restaurants. The Standard Double Room was the smallest of my trip, but the comfortable bed and nice view made it manageable. Elevating the room rate slightly to provide complimentary coffee would enhance the experience for guests. I appreciated the convenience of a 7-11 two blocks away, although the ATM situation was frustrating as it offered Yen only in USD, leading to multiple fees. The absence of laundry strings in the room was a downside, especially when traveling. The shower setup felt a bit cumbersome compared to others I’ve encountered in Japan. Finally, while the staff were generally nice, my interactions could have been more engaging, lacking the helpfulness I’ve experienced elsewhere. Overall, this stay had its highlights, but some adjustments would make it even better.

The Superior Twin Room was small but super comfy. The bed felt great after long days exploring Kyoto. I loved how the hotel provided a fresh cold water dispenser and awesome little amenities for the room. The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the Gion area, which was quiet yet close to everything. Totally made my stay enjoyable!
